Secure
Webspace involves using a third party secure
area on the internet that your customers
are directed to when they are ready to make
a payment. This purpose-built secure area
means you can avoid the expense involved
in purchasing a secure certificate of your
own but still allows you and your customers
the peace of mind of knowing each transaction
is secure and encrypted.
You
can easily identify a secure page on a
website by looking for two distinct features
in your browser. If the page is secure,
the URL in your browses address bar will
begin with 'https://' not 'http://' After
you have been prompted to enter the secure
page, your browser will also display a
padlock in the status bar.
We take our server security seriously and all shared services
are protected by at least one layer of firewall security.
Access is strictly limited to authorised addresses and users
and we do not offer console access to any other parties under
any circumstances. All of our core services are held at the
secure facility - Telehouse, Docklands (click here) |
