First things first. If you don't understand any of this and feel a bit out of your depth, then give us a call on 0870 474 8850 and we'll explain your options in normal language without any technobabble.

If you can't find what you are looking for and want to see an overview of the site then click here to be taken to the site map.

If you have a specific product or service in mind, the menu to the left can be used to investigate them.

If you want to sign up for a free account, you can do so from here or from the Home page.

Once you join, you will be contacted by email with the username and password to your online account where you can buy domains, webspace or email accounts.

The procedure is simple and straightforward and can take as little as 2 minutes. Our online system will enable you to view, renew and monitor all your services and sends out automatic reminders when expiry dates are near.

It is as close to maintenance-free internet provision as is available and the system itself is updated regularly to make running a website or email account as least hassle as possible.

We intend to always be available for you to contact and we strive to keep things simple. The internet can appear complicated and confusing and Skymarket will always try to make clear in language that can be understood, the best solution for your business.

Some common web jargon explained:

Virus: A malicious program designed to damage data; usually spread via infected e-mail attachments.
Trojan: Malicious software disguised as a harmless program.
Firewall: Software to protect computers against hackers.
Keylogging: Software/hardware to record what you type on your keyboard, in order to gather passwords or credit card numbers.
Pharming: When fraudsters redirect net users from legitimate to fake sites.
Phishing: Fraudulent e-mails and pop-ups to fool you into revealing personal information for criminal gain.
Rogue dialler: Software that installs itself on computers and changes settings to dial a premium rate number instead of usual dial-up account.
Spam: Unsolicited e-mails, often offering products or services in which you have no interest. Responding to spam emails in any way (even attempting to unsubscribe) usually worsens the problem.
Spyware: Small programs that secretly monitor sites visited, potentially violating privacy and slowing computers performance.
