Hosting involves
buying space on a webserver and then slotting
your website into it. The bigger your website,
the more space you need and the busier
your site is, the better the server needs to be to cope with the demand.
As a Bronze, Silver or Gold Partner you are entitled to differing amounts of
webspace to split as you choose amongst your clients. The example below
shows a typical configuration:

- 250Mb and 250 email accounts/forwardings
Client 1 - A website (Linux) 8Mb in size and 4 email acccounts
Client 2 - A website (Linux) 5Mb in size and 10 email acccounts
Client 3 - A website (Windows) 10Mb in size and 8 email acccounts
Client 4 - A website (Linux) 1Mb in size and 2 email acccounts
Client 5 - A website (Linux) 6Mb in size and 9 email acccounts
Client 6 - A website (Windows) 2Mb in size and 8 email acccounts
Client 7 - A website (Windows) 9Mb in size and 5 email acccounts

This Bronze Partner has only used 41Mb of his
allotted 250Mb and just 46 of his 250
emails. He has paid £195 + vat for his
Bronze Package, £15 + vat for each
Linux "split" and £35 for each
Windows "split". A total of £350
+ vat
(£411.25).

Obviously as the Bronze Partner in the example
above picked up more clients,
the savings would become very significant indeed.
Upgrading or downgrading from one package
to another can be done on a month
to month basis and most of our partners go
through and become dedicated
server customers in short order.

the end, servers, data centres and bandwidth
are not the key to hosting
